fresco di registrazione è un lavoro dedicato alla figura di Albert Ayler, eseguito in solo è composto da brani del repertorio del grande sassofonista...Just recorded this new work is dedicated to Albert Ayler, it features songs from Ayler's repertoir played in solo...Paolo Botti is on the scene of italian and european jazz since many years, working with such musician as: Franco D’Andrea, Bruno Tommaso, Giorgio Gaslini, Tristan Honsiger, Dave Liebman, Dave Burrell and many others.
He has played on more than 30 records (four as Leader) for many important labels in the field of modern jazz such as:
Soul Note, Spals(h), RAITrade, Via Veneto Jazz, Caligola Records, Amadeus, Il Manifesto, Philology, Music Center, jazz’halo, HoaxHobo, C-jam Joint etc..
He has performed in many international Festivals in Italy, France, Germany, Nederlands, Belgium, Danemark, Sweden, Norway, Portugal, Swisse, Tunisia and China.
His music and his playing has been broadcasted on important national radio programs such as RAI, Radio Popolare, Euroradio, and also on international programs.
He has been recently rated among the best soloists of italian jazz in the critics poll in the influent italian magazine ‘Musica Jazz’.
