Bottleneck consists of two semi-famous Canadian celebrities: Vancouver-based singers, songwriters and multi-instrumentalists, Nova Scotia native, Robyn Carrigan and Vancouver guitar hero, Scott Smith. With an impressive musical resume,Carrigan shines on vocals, guitar, accordion, and banjo while Smith masters all things with strings, from blistering blues guitar to shimmering pedal steel as well as adding his own vocals to the proceedings. Jeremy Holmes adds grace to the electric and stand-up bass while Liam MacDonald's country-via-New Orleans style drumming keeps audiences hips shaking. Bottleneck has released two beautiful critically acclaimed CD's and are working on a third. They toured Canada many times over the past few years. There music is heartfelt and kicks butt.
