Bottom Line is a rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio. We've been making music together for the past nine years and have released two full-length albums on Nice Guy Records. We signed with Maverick Records in early 2005, followed by a year in the studio with producer John Feldmann (Goldfinger, The Used, Story of the Year, MEST, City Sleeps), completing what would've been our third full-length album. We left Maverick/Warner because of their lack of activism and enthusiasm with our music. There is currently no release date for the still-untitled album, including the above recordings of the songs "Today," "Can't Hold Out," "Addiction," and "She Left Off" (all of which could frequently be heard at most live performances following the Feldmann sessions). We left the stage for the studio once again and spent the remainder of 2006 and 2007 focusing all energy on writing and recording new material in our home studio. At first we hoped to finally find a new home with people we could trust to take us to the next level of our career, but after that proved to be easier said than done, and as our sound constantly grew harder to define, we concluded the best course of action would be to take some much-needed time apart to pursue individual interests.
We want to thank everyone who's ever listened to Bottom Line for the years of support, and for your patience and understanding as we enter this new chapter in our lives.
