We are a grassroots, vigilant and peaceful prayer movement turning the tide of abortion by calling for and forerunning a communion revival in the land by the body and blood of Jesus Christ. Our mission is simple. We will pray in many cities within Mississippi by"silent prayer sieges," where we form a wall and stand and pray with red 'LIFE' tape on our mouths identifying with the unborn by standing in the gap for them. Our prayers and silent cries will rise into heaven as we stand before courts and and the one final abortion clinic in the state of Mississippi praying for God to change the atmosphere and end abortion. Who I'd like to meet: Hi guys!!
As you may or may not know, the state of Mississippi has but one abortion clinic left. Last year our state gov. wrote a bill to ban all abortion in Miss. unless it was in the case of rape or incest or if the mother's life was in danger. Our governor, whose name is Hayley Barbour said he would only sign the bill if it had those exceptions. Last year, though, no one could agree on anything and the legislative session ran out before anything could be decided. This years session began in Jan. and many things are already going on regarding the fight for life in Miss. This year a very mportant law has been passed in the state of Mississippi. It's a 3 part Pro-Life law that entails
1). When Congress overturns Roe V. Wade, Mississippi will declare Abortion illegal as well.
2). All women are required to have a sonogram before having an abortion.
3). All minors are required to have parental consent or a court order before they can have an abortion.
It's a very powerful law and a blessing from Jesus that this law passed.
What's paramount now is the body of Christ standing in one accord and agreeing with Jesus' heart. It's important we repent for Miss. and our nation and plead the blood of Jesus of our sins and over our government and officials. Jesus, I pray you give them wisdom and revelation from heaven in this hour!!! Please pray for us and join us if you can. So please pray for us and all the other pro-life ministries on the front line. Pray that God's hand be on Miss. and that He brings revival. And pray that He reveals the humanity of the child in the womb. Thanks and blessings to you all. It Was Only a Quarter
Several years ago, a preacher from out-of-state accepted a call to a church in Houston, Texas. Some weeks after he arrived, he had an occasion to ride the bus from his home to the downtown area. When he sat down, he discovered that the driver had accidentally given him a quarter too much change. As he considered what to do, he thought to himself, "You'd better give the quarter back.. It would be wrong to keep it." Then he thought, "Oh, forget it, it's only a quarter. Who would worry about this little amount? Anyway, the bus company gets too much fare; they will never miss it. Accept it as a 'gift from God' and keep quiet." When his stop came, he paused momentarily at the door, then he handed the quarter to the driver and said, "Here, you gave me too much change." The driver, with a smile, replied, "Aren't you the new preacher in town? I have been thinking a lot lately about going somewhere to worship. I just wanted to see what you would do if I gave you too much change. I'll see you at church on Sunday." When the preacher stepped off of the bus, he literally grabbed the nearest light pole, held on, and said, "Oh God, I almost sold your Son for a quarter." Our lives are the only Bible some people will ever read. This is a really scary example of how much people watch us as Christians and will put us to the test! Always be on guard and remember that you carry the name of Christ on your shoulders when you call yourself 'Christian'. Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny. I'm glad a friend forwarded this to me as a reminder. Whats goin on bro? Are ya'll contending in the heavens? They are having a ministry outing in Meridian the weekend after next with some of the kids from the ramp (we're all kids). I think Ill be down there then. Hey are you registered for the conference at the ramp at the end of this month? If so, Ill see you there! (or if you can come to merdian-bring some folks!)
The home base for Bound4Life is the SC one, but they siege in NC! How awesome is that, but sadly enough we're going to have to do some serious sieging! They have at least 8 abortion clinics in NC! That is unbelievable.
