Bound in Human Flesh

Bound in Human Flesh was devised in 1998 by Jamie Vautour in Saint John , New Brunswick , Canada . During his time as a member of the local band Beyond the Goat, Jamie started writing songs for a solo project based more on older death and black metal. These songs became the foundation for Bound in Human Flesh and were later released as a 4 song demo in 2001 with Geoff Martin of Beyond the Goat on vocals. In 2001 Beyond the Goat disbanded, Jamie had finished laying down guitar and drum tracks for the first Obscene Eulogy EP – A Portal into Fire but the burning desire to pursue Bound in Human Flesh still remained.
In the winter of 2002, the writing and recording of the first Bound in Human Flesh full length CD – Sick Lust for Revenge began. The full length was finally released in 2005 on Baphomet records and now featured Rick Daigle on vocals and lead guitar. A split CD with Nova Scotia ’s technical death wizards Cephalectomy also came out that year, showcasing two of the heaviest metal bands in the Maritimes.
From 2005 to the present, Jamie kept busy, delving even deeper into his influences. After Obscene Eulogy disbanded after two releases on Baphomet records, both Jamie and Nathan formed Coffin Birth and Jamie began writing the 2nd Bound in Human Flesh full length CD entitled Systematic Destruction. Once again Jamie was the main drive behind Bound in Human Flesh, playing the guitars, bass and programming the drums, assisted by Rick Daigle on vocals and lead guitar. The much anticipated release of Systematic Destruction will see the light of day in 2008, released through the Canadian label Bleak Art Records.
