About me: The Bourgeois Pig is a European style cafe in downtown Lawrence, Kansas, located at 6 E. 9th Street (between Mass and New Hampshire streets). We are a full bar and coffee shop with free wireless internet access. We feature a myriad of specialty martinis, espresso drinks, wines and spririts, and also offer soy and organic products. We have monthly art exhibits, and often have special events ranging from catered holiday extravaganzas to "theme nights",as well as some of the best music in town. Our staff is well-traveled and well-educated in anything from art to coffee to politics, and currently have three certified baristas on our staff. Come in for a cup of coffee or a cosmopolitan and a genuinely great time!

Seems like the Pig would be the perfect little tavern to cater free coffee and donuts to cyclists on national "Bike to Work Week" celebrated May 15th... What do you say, free coffee for everyone on 2 wheels???

I"m all the way in Chicago, and I miss the Pig. There is some restaurant or something here CALLED the bourgeois pig, but it is NOT the same. I will be back to see you in December. Hopefully I will have a Maggie sighting :).
