The BFC is a not-for-profit organisation bringing the best folk music to Bournemouth. The club runs each Thursday and Sunday at 'The Centre Stage' on Queens Road (next to the Pig & Whistle pub).
Bournemouth Folk Club works with Funnybone (owners of venue Centre Stage) in organising the Purbeck Folk Festival
Performers include:

All gigs £4 entry (Free to performers only) RESPECT - musicians please listen to other performers
SETS - usually 15 minutes (for most performers that's 3 songs)
HEADLINE: usually 40 minutes (about 9.45 - 10.30pm)
The general performance standard at recent Folk Stage events has been very high. With a diverse selection of playing styles, and mainly original material these evenings are highly recommended to musicians and music lovers alike.

This coming Monday 24th August at 8pm ForestFM will be broadcasting 2 hours of the first day of this summer's Sundial Festival, recorded on Saturday 20th June in the grounds of The Tudor Grange Hotel, in sunny Bournemouth
The broadcast will feature tracks from James McVey, Charlie Hole, Jim Cregen, Djambo, New Volunteer, The Sarah Griffin Band and Fearne.
