BOWELS OUT FORMED IN FEBRUARY 2002 IN EL PASO, TX WITH IVAN ON GUITAR/VOCALS, J. TWISTED ON BASS/VOCALS, AND A CRAZY DUDE NAMED DANNY ( now in Obeisance) ON DRUMS. THE THREE RELEASED THEIR FIRST DEMO, "BONG HITS AND VOMIT BITS" IN 2003. THE DEMO RECEIVED GOOD REVIEWS, BUT FELL SHORT OF WHAT THE BAND WANTED. SHORTLY AFTER, IN JANUARY 2003, DANNY WAS REPLACED BY AN ULTRA SICK DRUMMER BY THE NAME OF JOSEPH CARRILLO, WHO'S DRUMMING GAVE BOWELS OUT AN ENTIRELY NEW EDGE. IN OCTOBER OF 2003, IVAN QUIT AND WAS QUICKLY REPLACED BY GOOD FRIEND OF JOSEPH, ADRIAN LIRA (R.I.P). IN FEBRUARY 2004 THE TRIO RECORDED THIER 2ND DEMO "REMNANTS OF GUTTED BOWELS". THIS DEMO RECIEVED PRAISES AND EXCELLENT REVIEWS, AND EVENTUALLY LED THE RECRUITING OF SECOND GUITARIST AND GOOD FRIEND OF ADRIAN, CHRIS PEREZ.
SMALL TOURS FOLLOWED. IN FEBRUARY 2005, (AFTER MUCH PITCHING OF THE "REMNANTS OF GUTTED BOWELS" DEMO) CRAIG, OF CIVILIAN DEATH NETWORK RECORDS TOOK NOTICE & SIGNED BOWELS OUT. IN MARCH 2005, BOWELS OUT EMBARKED ON AN 18 CITY TOUR ENTITLED: THE "MUTILATION OF DECRYPT BOWELS TOUR" WITH INDIANA NATIVES - DECRYPT. THIS TOUR GREATLY AIDED BOWELS OUT IN SPREADING THEIR SIGNATURE BRAND OF TEXAS DEATH GRIND!!! IN DECEMBER 2005, BOWELS OUT RELEASED THEIR LONG ANTICIPATED, FULL LENGTH ALBUM - "ENLIGHTENMENT THROUGH DISMEMBERMENT" THROUGH CDN RECORDS. THIS ALBUM IS WITHOUT A DOUBT, THE BANDS SICKEST WORK TO DATE, THE ALBUM CONTAINED 6 NEW SONGS AND REMAKES OF OLDER MATERIAL. SHORTLY AFTER, LARRY OVERSTREET WAS BROUGHT INTO THE BAND TO TAKE OVER BASS DUTIES SO THAT J. TWISTED COULD CONCENTRATE MORE ON HIS VOCALIZING. IN MAY 2006, A TWO WEEK TOUR WITH DEATH METAL VETERANS, 'PUNGENT STENCH' FOLLOWED. IN JUNE 2006 IVAN WAS WELCOMED BACK INTO THE BAND.
