    Hey everyone, my name is Bowen Staines, and welcome to my Myspace page! I get a ton of emails asking if I'm related to Bill Staines, which is indeed the case; I am his son. I sing and play the instruments you hear in these songs, and have been doing just that for the past thirteen years of my life. This past October, I signed to BMI and released my debut CD "Sorry For The Rain" through Mineral River Music. I am currently hard at work on my second full-length album, entitled "Views of Distant Cities", and have new material being posted up here daily! I really hope you enjoy this music - sometimes I can speak better through my lyrics than I can in person, and I really put a lot of time into my lyrics to be sure I communicate exactly what I want through my music. Within these songs, you can find themes of friendship, love, heartbreak, and hopefully the inspiration to sit down on a rainy day and write a song of your own. Thanks again for checking my site out!
