____________________________________________________________________________Michael Richard / Vocals / Guitars....After picking up the guitar at age 7, mike migrated to the piano, then drums, leaving only singing as the last ingrediant to round out his sound. After a few years at the South Shore Conservatory of Music, it was off to perform in local bands for some down to earth rockin. Short stints in local groups, and long stints composing original material kept the fires burning untill this Tribute to David Bowie project got started. One night at Karioke, the patrons convinced him to start a Bowie Tribute! So he did!____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
LORI PHILLIPS ...(KEYBOARDS, PIANO, BACKUP VOCALS)
Lori attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, as well as The New England Conservatory of Music. She performed with the Classic Rock band called Back Beat and a Euro Rock group called ANAM. She has also performed on the Boston area with a 12 voice choir out of Roxbury.
Her latest endeavor, a southern style blues and rock band called The End Result, opened for Savoy Brown and the quite famous Sonny Landreth, known for his remarkable slide guitar ability. She occasionally plays with the local Blues band, Lickity Split, which has opened for the likes of The Danny Klein and Friends Band, original bassist for J Geils Band___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Gina Lovewell, ( Percusion, Vocals )
Gina grew up in a musical household singing 3 part harmonies
with her father and sisters as young children, and were all encouraged
enough musicaly to all migrate to other instruments. Gina chose singing
as her main instrument and was inspired enough to sing Carol King's "It's Too Late" for the school play and has been hooked ever since! As one of Gina's relatives has actualy been a backup singer for Bob Seagers's band for many years, you might say singing is in her blood. Gina performed the lead vocal duties in the long runningcover band "Super Freak" located Newport Beach California. Gina also holds down percusion, tamborine, harmonica, and some guitar duties___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________JOE WHALEN ...(Drums / Purcussion)
Joe brings his dry wit and time piece capabilities to the Diamond Dogs after
many years of performing with some great local groups. He started
early on honeing his ability by studying with fellow drummer, the famous
Dick Decenso. He also helped to form and perform in such groups as
Poison Tea, Witch Doctor Samuel, Ordinary Man, and The Don Alissi
jazz trio. Most recently, Whalen provided the Backbone of the local Rush
Tribute Group, Phantom Fears___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________John Allouise... (Bass Guitar and Vocals) John is a veteran of the Boston Rock Scene way back when The Rat , Groggery and Bunratty’s were in their heyday…..primarily at that time with a band called The Beams playing original tunes and touring the Northeast and Canada for years headlining their own shows and opening shows for well known bands such as Cheap Trick ,Leslie West ,Ashford and Simpson …..its all a blur. John also spent time living and playing in NYC before taking a lengthy musical hiatus only to re-emerge onto the Boston Blues scene . The last few years John has been playing with two great bands out of Boston : Drivin’ Blind & The Cindy Daley Band …and out of Clarksdale Mississippi : Guitar Mikey and the Realthing . John never says no to a gig and could be found anywhere from Maine to Memphis with anybody looking for a lowdown sound when he is not playing with Diamond Dogs. John is at home playing most styles of music from Motown to Funk and anything in between. John has been diagnosed with terminal Fenderitis but recenty has been playing Lakland and Sadowsky Basses on occasion. For John , Diamond Dogs is a refreshing excursion back to his Rock Roots where he promises to guard the groove along with extraordinary Drummer : Joe Whalen. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Rick Risti / Electric and Acoustic Guitars / Vocals / Harmonica

Rick Started guitarin at 10, and quickly turned pro
at the ripe old age of 18, opening up for Rick Derringer! It was then
onto "The Lasers" with his bass virtuoso brother John, then holding
all the guitar work down with South Shore local group "Ellis island" that produced an E.P for the band. The next move was the formation of the "Ball In Chain" band, that had such great sounding songs, they produced an L.P. that it made it to some great local airplay. In his next group "Street kid", they together penned a song called "Rain Tonight" that made it to several local stations, and were invited for some studio time with the famous "Jimmy Miller" with Phil Green is producer with Boston’s own "The Count Joe Viglione". He also recorded songs with the late "Jo Jo Laine" and briefly performed live with "Ronnie Stewart" drummer with the Joe Perry Project ( Let the Music do the Talking ) in a project they dubbed "Voyager" In the mid ninety's he formed "Sheppard’s Pie" and recorded at Millbrook Studios in New York City, Bobcat Studio's in New Hampshire and Normandy Studio's in Rhode Island again with "Phil Green" as producer! "The Vinegar Joe" acoustic duo! kept Rick busy at the acoustic guitar performing hundreds of songs from Pub to Pub mixing it up with his performances with "Fine Line" a local Boston Cover Band for over 12 years! Rick Risti has toured New England from Maine to Cape Cod, and had the great opportunity to perform live at the famous CBGB"S in New York City. Now how many players you know that have played at CBGB"S ?________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Michael Caglianone:
( Saxophone "aka the Grand Bastard")
Michael has worked as a musician, composer, engineer, producer, personal manager and promoter in the Northeastern US for over 20 years. A Berklee alum (class of 83) he played and recorded with fellow students Branford Marsalis, Jeff "Tain" Watts, Donald "Duck" Harrison, Greg Osby, Marvin "Smitty" Smith, Wallace Roney, Walter Beasley and others. During breaks from Berklee he went to L.A. to study with Art Pepper and also did extensive studio work as an "on call" woodwinds player. He ended up playing around the west coast with Pepper and played several shows with Chet Baker. Michael has also studied with Joe Lovano, George Garzone and Andy McGee. As a composer, Michael has written music for various large scale installations and theatre productions including "Clean Memories of the Big Fish" on Boston's City Hall Plaza, Performers Ensemble "Medea", Portraits for 2 and 3 dancers" for the MJY Dance Company and the multi-media architectural space "Shrine to the Private Marching Songs" designed by architect Eric Gould. Michael is also active in the business side of the industry. Currently the owner and chief engineer at 7a West Studios in Boston, he worked with many Boston bands throughout the 1980's and 90's as both an engineer and producer, and remembers when editing meant cutting the tape with a razor blade. Michael led the improvisational group Syzygy for 15 years and is currently playing with the Boston Bands Roll Over Baby, and Auto 66. He is the founding member and current "Grand Bastard" of the Zen Bastards.________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Chaz started his guitar work
at the age of 19 and hasn't stopped since!
Like many guitarists, he was heavily influenced by
the British Invasion of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones,
David Bowie, Lou Reed, Mot The Hoople etc,
with his 1st group the "Sindy Band" ( with all British invasion material)
and then onto "Honey Pie" ... an all original group that
toured London and Greece under the name "The Connection"
for over a year! It was then locally with some great recording projects
that his session work made it onto European Radio and some great
local station airplay. Since that time, Chaz Rock has released music with
"The Connection Band" that went into production in New York,
Las Vegas Nevada, and at The Boston University Television and
Communications Network Radio Stations. He can also be seen around
the Boston area with his classic rock group "Thats That"
