Well the new self-titled record by Bow Thayer and Perfect Trainwreck is finally done and will be available at our upcoming shows and thru our website (www.bowthayer.com) after July 8. We worked really hard on this one to capture our sound and did it live at Levon's house. Justin Guip and Pete Weiss really put their mojo into it and it shows. It is jam packed with 53 minutes of music and we can't wait to unleash it!

The new Driftwood Periodicals II is available at CDBABY and @ BOWTHAYER.COM
It is a fantastic album that deserves a listen! Recorded on an Atol of the coast of Belize with a mini disc and a handful of batteries, Bow really steps outside himself and delivers some of his most raw and beautiful melodies yet. The recordings were taken back to Vermont where his cohorts Jeff Berlin, Jeremy Moses Curtis, Dana Colley, and Pete Weiss were given one take to interpret the tracks as they heard them. Truly a piece of music that turns the
wheel

When it comes to music with deep roots, Bow Thayer delivers the real thing. A founding member of critically acclaimed acts such as 7 League Boots and The Benders, Thayer’s music bares the battle scars of a personal musical journey that has included tours of duty fronting every genre from punk to reggae, bluegrass to delta blues. Joined by some of the finest musicians in the New England area, Bow Thayer and Perfect Trainwreck is a band that deserves your full attention and support. True organic pop swamp rock that is unabshedly honest.

Actually, that double-neck is a guitar and bass rolled into one (very cool), but is not mine. I was rehearsing with Matty Liot in Hoboken at the Think Tank Studio (Sonic Youth), and that thing was laying around. Don't even know who it belongs to!
Hey, Bow...Thanks for picking me up! As I mentioned before, I met you last year up at Zac's party...He's my cousin... That was a fun night , and it was a treat to hear you play! I played a bit too, but I think it was after you left ...I'm not sure..Anyway, nice to find your page today, and hear more of your music! I's no surprise that it's all excellent! Stop by my page sometime, give me a listen and some input! I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts. I'm working on getting more tunes posted, but there's a few there for now. Much success to you in all you do, Peace and blessings, Mia
