The Bourbon Theatre

Box Awesome’s Bourbon Theatre is an extension of a vision that began when the Moore family opened Box Awesome in the historic Haymarket in the summer of 2007. With this new venture, Lincoln will benefit from what L. Kent Wolgamott from the Journal Star described as “already the most impressive club in town.” With a capacity of 750 for a full house show, 400 for a half house or 150 in the front room, the Bourbon will be able to host bands that have outgrown the intimate confines of Box Awesome. When shows aren’t on the daily calendar, patrons can still take advantage of our vast selection of bourbons across a wide range of qualities. With intentions of making the Bourbon Theatre a mutli-use theatre that hosts music, movies, comedy and beyond, we’re excited to begin a new chapter in Lincoln’s musical history.
