About me: All New Boxcar Astronaut Strips EVERY Sunday! at BoxcarAstronaut.comwww.BoxcarAstronaut.com Boxcar Astronaut is a weekly, four-panel comic strip created by two ordinary joes, Jeff Carter and Marc Lapierre. It follows the misadventures of two kids, Ben and Devin, who love to play in the backyard and imagine themselves as brave space heroes, protecting the galaxy from evildoers. Accompanying them on their missions are Diogee, Ben's loyal but mischevious dog, and Robot, an actual robot that finds himself stranded on Earth and in the service of two tiny children. There's also the occasional Caveman or space alien thrown in for good measure.
This comic strip is for anyone who remembers what it was like growing up in the "Star Wars" generation. An innocent time when a green wiffleball bat and a plastic space gun were all you needed to battle the forces of evil from sunrise to sundown. In those carefree days, kids could wander off alone on Halloween night, dig for buried treasure in the backyard, build tree forts, and sell lemonade on the corner. This strip is dedicated to anyone who recalls the simple joys of big wheels, ice cream trucks, tire swings, bubblegum cards, and turning an old appliance box into a starship.
With Boxcar Astronaut, Jeff and Marc are simply trying to capture the spirit of childhood before a special part of it was taken away forever by the Internet, ultra-realistic video games, DVD's, and the seemingly overwhelming pressure to grow up faster in these modern times.

robot and diogee, where both out. we went with c.e.-c.e.(pronounced see, see) stands for crooked ear and crooked eye. he has a birth defect where one ear is smaller than the other and he is a little crossed eyed in his right eye.its kinda why i feel for him, i like animals that aren't normal.(like me.) i want to get a picture of him in a cardboard box and put "im poopen in your cardboard box" just like you did diogee. lol
