When the scream of a guitar maltreated by a bit-crusher meets the glory of an 80's church organ, when beautiful harmonic movements turn into orchestrated chaos, when you can hear Rio Reiser and Nine Inch Nails at the same time (or was it New Order and the Stooges?) ... then you have probably entered the realm of Berlin based rock band BOXER. The two brothers Adrian and Philip - the groups only constant members and main creative force - have been developing what's their own idea of rock music for years. Since they absconded from the spotlight in 2006 they have been constantly working on what is going to be their first full length album entitled "Ein Hauch von Göttlichkeit". With Conner on keys and guitar and Mathias on drums joining them in late 2010, the group is ready to celebrate their first gig in four years! -
