That was great set at The Silver Dollar. An artistic statement through music, falling somewhere between an uncontrolled Velvet Underground jam and what would happen if indie-musicians were unleashed on free-form improvisation. A buzzing swarm of keys, trumpet, drums, and guitars, these noisemakers recall the acid-test shows of the late 60’s with a bit more soul. Quirky, yet equal parts entertaining and danceable.
That was a great set at Sneaky Dee's. The epitome of B-boy style...B standing for balaclavas! Concocting a unique sound and
style, Boxes & Bags
is all about merging that creative DIY aesthetic with bashed-out sonic
mayhem. With a hyperactive cocktail of driving guitars, keyboards, and
buzzed-out trumpets, it’s an uncanny mix that fuses different styles
into a crazed interactive dance party. Doses of energy guaranteed.
Hey guys and gall! Its gregg here. Met you last night at dees. Really sorry I could not stick around, one of the touring bands (Glorytellers) were staying at my house and they wated to get to bed. Needed to get up early. I will be sure to make it out to one of your upcoming shows!
k I need an EP from you guys real soon. Y'know when there are songs that are like, complete? Like, they're exactly wat they are supposed to be and they excecute it perfectly. High School Drama is one of those. I need it.
Awesome set! I really enjoyed the new songs, liking errvrything more & more. The medicine you gave me worked too well, the injection makes my knees weak. Brownies ruined us, next time we'll be fucking shit up-close & personal. Didn't mean to leave without saying bye Jamez, religion will ring you up personally.
That was a great set at The Neutral. Toronto’s purveyors of art-punk imbued with a colourful 80’s spirit, these band-of-thieves deliver rip-yer-face off rock energy, brash soul-shouts, and precision execution. It’s like a stew of primordial noise, trumpet, riffs, keyboards, and chants—unleashed as a sex-shimmering supernova. This is your favourite science-fiction fantasy come to life.
t'was a while back for sure. maybe we will have to force fates hand a little with the crossing paths. I'll just creep your venue dates & maybe pop by a show. Alright, well enjoy the lovely weather that is destined to come :)
