electronic music fundraiser festival for Oxjam with the focus on
live performance.
We are currently looking for
acts willing to donate their time and talent for
charity.
Whether you are a new-wave synth band,
laptop artist, beatboxer, VJ or a DJ with an
overloaded stack of drum machines, effects, samplers,
software, and of course wires, then we want to hear
from you.
And even if you're not, we want to

Hiya What a summer its been!! We’ve been working hard in the studio and are currently recording our first commercial EP 'What Katie Did' which will be released around October time. You can hear a demo version on our MySpace.
We are not planning any live shows until we are ready to promote the EP but you never know we may pop up at a venue near you.

Our last live performance before our summer holiday will be at the Selby outdoor festival at the James Street 'bowling green' in Selby on the 21st June, the event starts at 1pm and we’ll be on stage at 5pm others on the bill are Dirty Secrets, Chantel McGregor, The Beautiful Sound, Last Gang and headlining is the Bryan Adams Experience, we hope you can be there.

cloth cat and anorakism present electric kitty – a 10 year anniversary showdown.... introducing caro snatch (anorakism) the live one-woman eklectronic avalanche. paul green (peterloo massacre) with a tenori-tastic live electronica set. output deliverng live deep house grooves and lo-tech spinning tech house flavoured vinyl. bringning up the low end will be anorakism label mistress paizan with a deep techno infused dubstep set.
Static Rain is a 2 piece band from the beautiful Yorkshire town of Keighley. Band members Tony Garthwaite and Jacob Barlow formed the band in 2008, driven by a joint passion for both electronic music and retro synths. The music they produce can be described as electronic pop with catchy choruses and memorable riffs that are prominent in all of their songs, making them popular with a very wide audience.
Following their initial success on MySpace, Static Rain continues to build a solid fan base and a strong reputation as a live act. The band is currently looking for gigs from June 09 onwards throughout the whole of the UK.
