Box of Crayons is a loose term for people who jam with Mervin Waboose and Devon Martin. Members come and go at random. We just happened to have Chris Stevens along when we cut our first cd. Heh, heh, yeah right. He was the guy who made this musicpile come together into a recording.
Box of Crayons had it's beginnings in Thunder Bay, ON in 2005 when Devon moved there and met this guy Merv. They started hanging out, playing guitar, and writing some songs together. The Box added a crayon when Merv brought another friend on who mesmerized us with his bass rythmns and soaring vocals. We lost him for a while to Alabama (the state, not the band), but fortunately he returned long enough to help us out with this album. We're looking for a Chinese keyboardist and maybe an Indonesian percussionist yet so we can have a five or six pack of Crayons.
