The individuals of box theory were originally members of seperate bands but felt dissatisfied and missunderstood within their roles. After a "textbook cliche" of finding themselves sat around a bar table it became apparent that they all desired the same kind of buzz from writing music. After a couple of informal practices, it almost went unoticed to them that songs were developing and at a quick pace!! (it's amazing how much progress is made when you leave your egos at home next to your toothbrush!!) After talking about how well the chemistry seemed to flow they made it official and spent 2 minutes to decide on a band name.
