sooo... i found some time for etymology- 'luke' in lukewarm is from from the middle english 'leuk' which means tepid. It's obsolete now other than its use in 'lukewarm.' it is speculated to have come from middle dutch 'leuk,' middle frisian 'leuk,' or old english 'hleowe.'
