Bozenka’s Bellydance Academy is directed by award winning Bellydance Superstar, Bozenka. Bozenka’s Bellydance Academy, formerly called the Mid Eastern Dance Exchange is the first Bellydance Studio that opened here in South Florida in 1990. It is home for some of the top names in Belly dance today.
Bozenka’s Bellydance Academy is a dance school with several instructors teaching multiple classes each week. The studio offers a growing list of professional belly dancing artists as well. It is a place to find world-class belly dancing performers to enliven the atmosphere at any event.
Bozenka’s Bellydance Academy mission is to educate, inspire, and entertain the most diverse audience possible about Middle Eastern dance, music, and culture, and to teach an appreciation of traditional dances while expanding the art into new frontiers.

A Drummer and a Dancer

The pulse grows more insistent
As the song draws near its end.
The melody is ending,
And the rhythm takes command.
The drummer shares his passion
And I answer back in kind.
Together, we are partners
And in music, just one mind.
A drummer and a dancer:
Each alone is not complete.
We make a perfect duo
To explore the music's beat.
We tap the great unconscious
For the rhythms that it holds.
We give them form and share them
As our dialogue unfolds.
The energy is peaking:
It's the climax of the show.
I lose myself in rhythm
And I let the power flow.
The final drum roll ripples
And the spell at last is done.
The drummer and the dancer
And the audience are one.
