About me:

I'm a 30-year-old dad and husband living in the Boston area.
Working life:My professional interests lie in online media and communications, and how they can help businesses and organizations. In my paying day job, I am a web content producer for Monster.com.
Personal interests include:
1) Learning new languagesI know Spanish and Portuguese, and a bit of a language called Tetum, from the tiny independent country of East Timor. I understand a bit of French and some Swahili, which is a native language for my wife and daugther, who are from Kenya. I even took a six-week course in Arabic - what a mind-bender that was!
2) TravelingI've studied and lived in both Spain (6 months) and Australia (2 years), and those experiences have undoubtedly shaped my life. Some other memorable places I've been include New Zealand, East Timor, and Kenya Traveling is less frequent now with a family, but that doesn't mean I'm less passionate about it.
3) SportsA diehard Red Sox fan and loyal follower of the Australian cricket team. I played baseball growing up and tennis in high school. Still enjoy a pickup game of either from time to time.
