If you are writing to him to request an autograph, you will double your chances if you include the photographs you want signing, and a self addressed envelope. If you just want to write to tell him how wonderful he is, it wont be necessary.
Let me know about any feedback that you recieve. If I find there is a change to the address, I will update this.
Good luck guys!

"I would much rather be a fabulously wealthy actor. But since I am not, the character parts are more interesting, gives much more diversity. Villains are great. If it wasn't for the devil, we wouldn't be here, would we?"
- Brad Dourif
I have tried to start writing this tribute about five times, and everytime I find it so difficult to find the right words to describe this actor. When I think of science fiction and horror, I think of Brad Dourif. He portrays psychopaths, sociopaths, killers and other lost souls like no other. He is a chameleon, effortlessly blending into characters that are so convincing, we forget we are watching a film. He is magnetic and compelling, and when he catches my attention for 10 seconds on screen, he draws me in.
You can't catagorise Dourif. He is not in a specific "group" of actors, and you can't label him a heartthrob either (well....unless you're like me). As far as he's concerned, mainstream sucks balls. He is one on his own, and he prefers it that way. Those branded wierd as kids have a tendancy to grow up to become iconic horror figures, and Dourif is a perfect example of that. Alone in the shadows of his youth, surrounded by macabe images that his dead father had doted on years before, Brad was educated by Vincent Price and Christopher Lee movies instead of becoming an arsehole sports fanatic....you get my point. Dourif's got an aura, a glow. Maybe he doesn't see it, but it's blinding everyone else.
Yeah, so he's been in about a thousand B movies....and alot of them have been shit. In all honesty, I can't fault one of his performances. For a quirky character actor that plays deranged and demented perfectly, his performances are moving. There I am, sympathising with a serial killer, all because Dourif makes it so. The physical and mental transformations are breathtaking, marking him as one of horrors most memorable performers. He was nominated for an Oscar once. Was he ecstatic? Not exactly. He hid from the limelight, performing and teaching theatre in New York until the dust settled and he bceame a "nobody" again. He did manage to become a nobody again, but only to box office hugging overactors and their hormonal teenage fans. The rest of us continued to follow his every move, becoming more intoxicated by him as time went on.
Dourif was stealing the scene while most of us were still in our nappies, and he's not ashamed to admit he is a bit of a film whore. He'll pretty much do anything as long as it grabs his attention. His experience on stage and screen has never altered his personality, and he continues to embrace the "wierdo" image that has sometimes overshadowed him. He has been in alot of horror, and it's unfortunate that people tend to forget about his "normal" roles (Dune, Blue Velvet, Fatal Beauty, Wise Blood, and London Kills Me, to name a few) where his performances have been outstanding.
It could be seen as unfortunate that he soon became typecasted as a villain after providing the voice of evil doll Chucky, but most see it as a blessing. Dourif has managed to gain a massive cult following because he has a strong screen presence, and he's not arsed about how much cash the film manages to make. He does a job to pay the bills, and his passion for acting is what draws him to so many projects. He is as unusual and as beautiful as they get, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
Who I'd like to meet:
♥ "It's something in my eyes, a tension that I carry around. I can be sitting on a set, thinking about a ham sandwich, and people will think I'm immersed in deep thought. But I'm really not, I'm just thinking about a ham sandwich." - Brad Dourif ♥
Be sure to check out the official Myspace for Rob Zombie's Halloween. Our little scene stealer will be amazing as Sheriff Brackett. Click on the banner to go have a look!
""This morning when God opened a window to Heaven, He saw me, and He asked: "My child, what is your greatest wish for today?" I responded: "Please, take care of the person who is reading this message, their family and their special friends. They deserve it and I love them very much" The love of God is like the ocean, you can see its beginning, but not its end. This message works on the day you receive it. Let us see if it is true. ANGELS EXIST but sometimes, since they don't all have wings, we call them TRUE FRIENDS. Pass this on to your true friends. Something good will happen to you at 11:11 in the evening; something that you have been waiting to hear. Do not break this prayer; send it to a minimum of 11 people." Including me""
When I was little, I used to believe in the concept of one best friend, And then I started to become a woman.
And then I found out that if you allow your heart to open up, God would show you the best in many friends.
One friend is needed when you're going through things with your man. Another friend is needed when you're going through things with your mom.
Another will sit beside you in the bleachers as you delight in your children and their activities. Another when you want to shop, share, heal, hurt, joke, or just be.
One friend will say, "Let's cry together," Another, "Let's fight together," Another, "Let's walk away together."
One friend will meet your spiritual need, Another your shoe fetish, Another your love for movies, Another will be with you in your season of confusion, Another will be your clarifier, another the wind beneath your wings.
But whatever their assignment in your life, On whatever the occasion, On whatever the day, Or wherever you need them to meet you with their gym shoes on and hair pulled back, Or to hold you back from making a complete fool of yourself ... Those are your best friends.
It may all be wrapped up in one woman, But for many, it's wrapped up in several.. One from 7th grade, One from high school, Several from the college years, a couple from old jobs, On some days your mother, On some days your neighbor, On others, your sisters, And on some days, your daughters.
So whether they've been your friend for 20 minutes or 20 years, AND ONLY IF YOU'D LIKE TO, Pass this on to the women that God has placed in your life…""
