.. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..Currently writing songs for my 3rd album, and collaborating/writing with prog rock project "PATINA DENIAL" !! NEW VIDEO CLIPS COMING SOON TOO!! "Escape from Suburbia" was my 2nd solo effort. There is some of the outstanding lead guitar work provided by Christian Nesmith really makes the songs exciting and energetic. Very glad I was able to get Christian involved. In the past many months we enjoyed some live shows to promote the new album - sponsored by "ROCK THE DENIM(R)" that included Jerry Best on Bass, Christian on guitar, my pal Billy Davis on guitar, and my brother Bob Yerby on Drums - and a little vocal help from Jill Kokalis-Scott. My first solo album was called "The Day after Yesterday" THE DAY AFTER YESTERDAY (title track from my first album release) was used for a movie release called "ALONG THE WAY" as the main song during ending credits - You can only hear this special acoustic/djembe mix at www.alongthewaythemovie.com Prior to "the Day after Yesterday" i recorded an album with EPIC - see www.epic-rock.com for more info.. .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. I have been very fortunate to have played at some point or another with some of current musics greatest guitar & bass players & Drummers from Tony MacAlpine (Steve Vai), Joel Schearer (Alanis Morrisette, Strangelove, Pedestrian), Joe Holmes (Lizzy Borden, Ozzy, DLR Band), Tracy G (DIO, Epic, WWIII, Goaded), Christian Nesmith, JJ Farris (The Tories, Paint, Slammin Gladys), Enzio (thought industry), Joey Vera (armored Saint, Fates Warning, Anthrax), Larry "Bones" Dennison (Dio/Lita, Lita Ford), Bob Yerby (Paint, Epic, Brad Alden), Forrest Robinson (India Arie,Utada Hikaru and tons others), Ray Luzier (Korn/DLR band, Army of Anyone and MORE), Jason Bryant, Nova Kane (no know) and some other greats (sorry if your name is not listed here it's late !!) - ...... My website is WWW.BRADALDEN.COM you can find more info/photos/music there. I have been in various Rock, progressive, pop, and acoustic projects over the years - I took several years off from chasing music to raise a young family from like 1998 until about 2005 - then i dove in and I wrote/recorded a hard rock cd with EPIC called "Metaphor" with some former DIO and India.arie artists (you can check that out at www.epic-rock.com .. and see a few videos etc.) - that project was a lot of fun - i then went on to record my first solo cd - in 2007 called "The Day After Yesterday" - ! The Day After Yesterday, and Escape from Suburbia were recorded in my home studio - the drums for both were performed/recorded by Bob Yerby (remo inc). The title of my first cd, "THE DAY AFTER YESTERDAY," was inspired by my son Crosby who actually said "the day after yesterday" by mistake (he meant to say "the day after tomorrow" when referring to something coming up he was looking forward to), and I thought it was a great statement that actually reflects "TODAY" or where you're at today in your life - which is all we've got really. It's totally appropriate for me, hence the cd title. ESCAPE FROM SUBURBIA is more of concept album playing with the idea of someone losing their mind in the reality of suburban America. When not making music, I like to spend time with friends & family (Bradi my daughter, & Crosby my son,...oh...and gizzy the dog) , and I also spend a decent amount of time in my LA denim showroom - I am deeply involved in the Los Angeles jeans/fashion biz. I also enjoy catching a few fish with my buddy Jess from time to time too (Thanks JESS). I want to send a special thanks to Bradi (my daughter), Crosby (my son), "Gizzy" (my dog), my mother Sharon, my brothers Jeff & Nick, as well as Wesley Herman for your support - I look forward to seeing a lot of you soon at a gig or elsewhere in the near future! A special thanks to WARREN SALYER formerly at DIGIPREP mastering in Silverlake CA !! Vocally/lyrically I always loved Steve Walsh from Kansas, DUg Pinnick (Kings X), Chris Cornell, Neil Young, Stevie Wonder, David Crosby, RICKEY MEDLOCKE & Robert Plant. Bob Seger is an amazing songwriter I enjoy as well. I also love listening to Robert Cray, Seal, and Kool & the Gang when the mood suits me.. Musically one of my recent favorite bands to listen to is Porcupine tree as they fuse such a variety of great styles I can relate to. Amazing. ......Myspace Profile Tracker World Visitor Map.. ........by .. pilotb..
