The members of my various bands (trio, quartet, quintet, septet, and 18 piece big band!) change from time to time due to availability. But all of them are among the best musicians on the west coast.
Influences
My composing influences are Henry Mancini, Billy Byers, Debussy, Mozart, Don Menza, Carl Stalling, and so many more...
Born in Los Angeles, I grew up in the San Fernando Valley and, at the age of 11, began studying clarinet, eventually attending California State University, Northridge. In 1980, I organized and conducted an 17-piece jazz orchestra that performed regularly in Hollyweood. Since then, I have worked with many of the top musicians in Los Angeles. I continue to work as a professional musician/bandleader, performing live and in studio situations. (Sax, clarinet, flute)
In 1984, I began a career in post-production, eventually moving on to work as a picture editor at Nickelodeon Studios in 1995. After leaving Nickelodeon, I started my own music production business and currently do freelance work for Cartoon Network as a track reader.
I began getting work as an animation composer in 1998 on the Nickelodeon series, "Spongebob Squarepants", writing featured songs and performing clarinet for one of the characters, Squidword. Following this, I wrote music, (including the main title and end credits), on the animated series, "Poochini", syndicated worldwide. Most recently, I wrote the score for"Billy Bastard", created by Billy West.
like a fart in a thunderstorm.... nobody's gonna smell it, and if they do, it'll be covered up by the guy yelling "TORNADO!" ...Who's just crapped his pants.
