BRAD COLE is arguably one of Australia’s hottest new independent country singer/songwriters. Brad delivers a modern and polished brand of contemporary country music with broad market appeal.
Brad's current single - "Come Home" recently debuted in Australia at number 2 on the music network Australian country radio charts - 22 December 2008 and was the 6th most added song on all Australian radio!
In late 2008 Brad released his debut ‘Icebreaker’ album. He achieved his 1st hit single with “Hits Me Like Lightning”. The track rocketed up the Australian Music Network Country Radio Charts where it held the number 2 spot for 9 consecutive weeks amongst the company of major international and Australian artists. Brad’s single also charted on the Country Tracks Radio Charts and his accompanying music video reached number 15 on CMC.
In 2008 Brad was again in the spotlight with the release of Australia’s 1st locally produced and manufactured Blu-ray Music video, a significant industry milestone and 1st by any Australian artist in any genre. Brad’s Blu-ray music video has been showcased on High Definition plasma and LCD screens in major electrical retail stores across Australia and has been archived by the National Film and Sound Archive in Canberra.
Brad performed on the popular television show – ‘Mornings with Kerri-Anne’ and has been featured and interviewed by many leading Australian radio personalities. Brad’s name and brand of music is growing rapidly and is being recognised across a broad cross section of music fans from around Australia.
In Sept 2008 Brad was invited to Canada by his Canadian promoter and attended the 2008 Canadian Country Music Awards as a guest where Brad video interviewed Canadian group and 2008 CCMA finalists ‘The Wilkinsons’ as an Australian exclusive.
