About Brad Crisler
Born and raised in North Alabama, Brad Crisler began his career in Nashville in 1996. With his mix of southern heritage and progressive writing style, Brad turned his early collaborative relationships into chart topping success with the 1997 hit “Whatever Comes First” by Sons of the Desert. The song earned an ASCAP “most performed country song” award and set the record for the longest charting single in Epic records history. Other cuts followed quickly as Brad’s songs were recorded by McBride and the Ride, Pearl River, Ty Herndon, Aaron Tippin leading to his next hit single on the super-group Blackhawk. “Your Own Little Corner Of My Heart.”
Soon after, Brad penned singles for The Wilkinsons and Tim McGraw’s “Some Things Never Change” which reached top 5 in 2000. He has also garnered cuts on the 4x platinum Kenny Chesney album, “No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problem,” Rascal Flatts’ double platinum album, “Melt,” as well as their quadruple platinum “Feels Like Today.”
In 2002, Brad had the honor of having some of his heroes recording one of his songs. That group was the legendary group, Alabama.
The following year, Brad had the singles, “I Can’t Be Your Friend” as recorded by Rushlow (spent 32 weeks on the charts and was a top 10) and “Sweet Southern Comfort” as recorded by Buddy Jewell (spent 6 weeks at 3 on the charts). This single won an ASCAP Award and was the 10 most performed song of 2004.
