Haven't really heard many "you sound like"s. Little Bobby McFerrin, little Harry Connick, Jr.
Started playing piano young, then found more of myself in singing. Got my degree in Vocal Jazz and Studio Music from the University of Miami, where I discovered, practiced, and perfected several of Bobby McFerrin's Spontaneous Inventions, which got me started on this path. Was named "Best Jazz Vocalist of the Year" for colleges in 2003 by DownBeat Magazine. Now I'm writing my own purely vocal tunes.

Unfortunately no. My mom and I are staying up here to be with my grandparents. It will be very strange not being home, but very worth it to be with my grandparents.
