We are a group of people aged 55+ who are striving for rights of pensioner's in Bradford & District, West Yorkshire. The issues we cover include, access, benefits, care, diet, education, finance, information, leisure, transport, health and well being of our members.
It is hoped that we could primarily provide a drop-in style cafe, with many other facilities, which would be housed centrally under one roof for pensioners to access daily. These facilities would expand as the need became more apparent.
What do we need? Well, we could say we need you. We certainly need your help and support. One thing you can count on, is that you will need us, even if you are not of a pensionable age at present, there is no getting away from the fact that you will mature at some time in the future to swell our ranks. As an active pensioner's body, we can take your voice to higher places and ask for your rights where it matters. The more names on our list and the more bodies we have at our meetings will only give us a stronger, more powerful voice when we challenge authority to listen to our cause.
