I sang in church when I was very, very little, and I started playing guitar at 12 - but I started playing piano at 6 and the string bass at 8. I was writing songs as early as 9 and I started performing my songs at 15. I've written over 700 songs and recorded about 300 of them over 25 albums. I've played across the U.S., in Europe, and in my living room. I've played at bars, coffee shops, festivals, and private parties, and in of that I have done LOTS and LOTS of gigs. I own 7 acoustic guitars (including one custom made Homer Ledford acoustic guitar), a lot of small p.a. equipment, and I have built a home studio. I do about 4-5 gigs a month, at least, and record one album about every year. I play acoustic guitar with (simultaneous) rhythmic contempt and compassion for the instrument, and my ragged voice ranges from a sandpaper baritone to a prickly tenor. My performances are often quite ironic because as much as I love performing, I am irritated by singer/songwriters - and I am most irritated that I have become one. The songs I write as are good as any I hear and I hope to write them until they dry up or I die.
You're such a sweetheart! I'm lucky to know you as a fellow performer and as a fantastic friend! Thanks for all you bring to everything you set your mind to! -- Jaime

Hi Bradlee, I have to thank you! Really good and intense songs here. London is my favorite at the moment. Say Hamburg instead of London, have a look out the window and you get the same feeling. It's dark and rainy. Wish you all the best and much success. Peace. LB
