About me: My name is Bradley The Super Dog. I used to be that dog that nobody could look at. Not because they were bad people, but because it was just too hard to watch me drag myself around with my front legs, and to see the sores and dirt and poop on my bottom half. My Mom says that the biggest problem with animal rescue is that so many people with good hearts suffer from the "I Can't Look" syndrome. She says that they really aren't afraid of looking as much as they are afraid that they won't be able to help. The good news is that now I have a turbo scooter, and my diaper covers most of my poopy parts, so almost everybody looks at me. Now my only mission in life is to "make people look." Not just at me, but at the millions of other abused and abandoned pets dumped in shelters, or abandoned and left to die a horrible death.
We all deserve an equal chance to be happy and loved, so please don't give up just because you can't look!
Who I'd like to meet: More people like Julia Pennington, and Jeanine Curcione, and Candace Modrell. They dedicate their lives to saving animals, and they really need your help. They need volunteers, and foster homes, and people who can transport animals. They need people who understand that animals suffer the most when humans hit on hard times. But mostly they need people who are brave enough to look. Hi Bradley, Hope you had a good weekend. Mine was so so. I was at the vet on Tuesday for my yearly exam & the vet discovered that I have the beginning of cataracts. At the moment it's not serious & he told nana & mommie "we will wait & see" My nana is so upset because she knows being 12 years old is kinda dangerous for anesthesia. I've already had 2 major operations that being a herniated disc & kidney stone surgery. After supper tonight we went for a drive. We didn't go too far because the price of gas has really gone up in the last few days. Well I have to split so have a nice Monday.Love Monty
