The Annual Movement of the Sun against the
Constellations of the Zodiac
The dates given below are standard dates but the events may occur a day “earlier” in a leap year, or the year following that.
The Autumn Equinox – March 21. The Sun is on the Celestial Equator (and overhead at a point on the Equator at Earth). This point is also used to define the “prime meridian” – hence the Right Ascension of the Sun is, by definition, zero.
Each day the Sun moves a little further along the Ecliptic
• On April 21th, the Sun’s path along the Ecliptic carries it into Aries, till May 13th (23days)
• Between May 14th and June 21st, the Sun passes through Taurus (39days)
• June 22nd, Winter Solstice, the Sun is a R.A. 6hrs and Declination +23.5’- its maximum northern Declination. It also enters the constellation of Gemini until July 20th. Castor & Pollux, the twins (29days)
• Between July 21st and August 10th, the Sun is in Cancer (21days)
• On August 11th, the Sun enters Leo until September 16th. This constellation is relatively easy to recognize- particularly by the upside-down “question mark” pattern of stars(37days)
• From September 17th to October 31st, the Sun follows the Ecliptic through Virgo. On September 23rd, Spring Equinox, the Sun crosses the Celestial Equator (at R.A. 12hr and Declination 0”) (45days)
• November 1st to 23rd has the Sun passing through Libra, the scales (23 days)
• For a few days, November 24th to 29th, the Sun passes in front of Scorpius (6days)
• On November 30th, the Sun enters the constellation of Ophiuchus until December 17th, the doctor of antiquity who saved Orion (18days)
• On December 18th, the Sun moves into Sagittarius, the centaur-archer hunter until January 19th. On Dec. 22nd, Summer Solstice, the Sun reaches its most southern sky Declination at R.A. 18hr Declination= -23.5’ (33days)
• From January 20th to February 15th, the Sun passes through Capricornus (27days)
• Between February 16th and March 11th, the Sun is in Aquarius, the Water carrier (24days).
• On March 12th, the Sun passes into Pisces (15days).
• On March 27th, the Sun touches the very corner of the constellation of Cetus- the sea monster that threatened Andromeda (1day).
• On March 28th, the Sun continues in Pisces until April 20th (24days).

About me
I have a few life studies like Astro-Archeology, Numerology and all the spoon-bending shit. I love the supernatural and have been getting into books by Zacharia Sitchin lately. You know... the Sumerian stories about the 12th planet called Nibiru. Crazy info. So yeah you guessed right... I look up at the night sky a lot.Love that! Seeing our placing in our galaxy and the multiverse.
Above all I dig creative writing... rhymes, verses, concepts. I'm part of a crew called Klenched Fist and part of a few other projects called Heads of State and Dark Lords- League of Shadows. Yeah lately I've been getting into making beats on Reason. Pretty dope! But for real I wanna be writing some short stories and later books. See where I come from in Cape Town, South Africa there is a whole lot of true stories untold and unheard. Just from the -isshhh I've experienced first hand I wanna compile a dope series of shorts from the apartheid days growing up in the ghettos to university days to my current artist performance days... real shit, no fabrications. Yo the list is long. Right now I'm working on a piece called "The Book in my Head"... and thats just where it is... still in my head.
Otherwize I'm also a Black Mane Lion incarnate in the form of a Khoi-San. My peoples are some of the original people to walk on the earth. We are called "men-among-men", originators of the click languages that I so desperately wanna reconnect with. See one of the sacrifices of my peoples who remained in the cities was the loss of the ancestrol tongue. So I'm real keen to unify myself with this ancient part of my genetics. It's another life study .
