About me:

Brad Malow is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts where he was the recipient of the prestigious Robert Moss Award for Outstanding Direction. He is currently the Artistic Director of Young Audiences New York - a leading arts-in-education organization. With over 30 affiliates in the nation, Young Audiences has been a thriving force for 55+ years. YANY's mission is to advance the artistic and educational development of New York City public school students by bringing students together with professional artists of all disciplines to learn, create and participate in the arts. This organization's programs serve students of all grade levels and reflect the cultural diversity of New York City.

Brad had the privilege of collaborating with Pulitzer Prize nominee Craig Wright (Six Feet Under, Lost) in directing the NYC premiere reading of Wright's new play GRACE at Manhattan Theatre Club's Creative Center. The reading starred three-time Tony Award nominee Kelli O'hara and Drama Desk nominees Paul Sparks and Jason Butler Harner.

*Picked as "What to see!" by Time Out New York

"Brad Malow's thoughtful direction and some excellent performances maximize the text's sweeping social message, as well as its grueling emotional truths."
TIME OUT NEW YORK

"Director Brad Malow approaches the material with restraint, keeping his massive cast from overacting the fraught situations. He also layers scenes with provocative detail. Without supplanting Baldwin's text, Malow suggests a rich world of characters and relationships that the playwright never explores."

IT RUNS IN THE FAMILY

"Director Brad Malow turns It Runs in the Family into synchronized chaos, where every gesture is spot on."
SYRACUSE NEW TIMES

"With sparkling performances and razor sharp direction, 'Family' is just what the doctor ordered. The performances are uniformly wonderful, the cast is a true ensemble."

YOU SHOULD BE SO LUCKY
(Pictures coming....)
The Theater Barn

"Charles Busch's fragile combination of fairy tale - in the traditional sense - and farce works because of a dedicated cast and some sharp direction by Brad Malow."
THE BERKSHIRE EAGLE

"Directorial choices by Brad Malow are nicely accomplished in both scenework and transitions. Especially impressive are his scene changes......Malow cushions some of the play's more contrived moments with campy abandon.."
