I was born and raised in Nebraska, influenced musically by my mother who played the guitar and piano. Growing up in a musical household, I found enjoyment in performing and singing from early elementary through my show choir days in high school. As a junior in high school, I auditioned and was accepted into the Young Americans national touring group, based in LA.

After graduating high school I packed up and moved to Denver where I attended college at DIT (Denver Institute of Technology) majoring in computer networking informational systems. It was during this time that I decided to take a new direction in my life and headed off into the Mountains to work at the camp (Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp) I had attended since I was a young chap. It was at RTLC where I started pursuing my music career and began expressing my perspective on life through music.

Back to Nebraska.. In May, 2002, about a year after founding my label WWoBn Records, I was scouted by an A&R Agency (Live Unsigned) who helped me shop my music to several major record labels. Shortly after I found myself in Burbank, California where I had the opportunity to shoot my first music video and recorded my first live album.

Since 2002 I’ve had the amazing opportunity to perform acts such as Kenny Chesney, Gary Allan, Martina McBride, Chris Cagel, Andy Griggs, Kevin Dunney,Trick Pony, Lifehouse, Seven Mary Three, Spin Doctors, Tesla, Ted Nugent, Lynyrd Skynyrd, REO Speedwagon, Grand Funk Railroad, Gin Blossoms, Vince Neil, 38 Special, The Knack, Jackyl, and many others.

In 2004 I decided to hang up the guitar and to finish my BA and MIS degrees, start my family, and invest time into my career as a systems engineer at eBay. A lot of time has passed since then and now but I never stopped writing.. With 4 solid years of writing behind me I’m very excited about my new music project coming out later this year.
