Brad Randell was born in Lawtell, La. Brad was not one for zydeco music. wh He then mastered playing the accordion at the age of 15. At the age of 17 after graduating high school, Brad then realized it was time to start his own band. Brad then formed his band (Brad Randell & The Zydeco Ballers) they were then and now very hot at trail rides. People say he is the “Crunk” man in zydeco. Brad adds his own unique sound with the Ballers, his band entertains as well as any other band in the world.
His first recording, Move That Thang, was released by Bad Weather Records in July of 1998. A couple months later, Brad performed at the 16th annual Original Southwest Louisiana Zydeco Festival in Plaisance. Brad wrote most of the songs on his first CD. His second CD, Kee Mo-Say Bay, was released by J&S Records of Ville Platte in 2000, produced by Jay Doucet and Stuart Fontenot.
The other band members of The Zydeco Ballers are Jockque Randell (brother) on the drums and background vocals. Ronald Carrier on the bass and background vocals. Jeremy on scrub board and background vocals. Check out this hot Zydeco band as they are very well known in Louisiana and soon to be known worldwide.
