Walking the fine line between pleasure and pain... moments of melodic beauty interspersed with angsty guitar riffage, percussive aggression and deep, moody undertones.
Brad Sterling is a guitarist/singer/songwriter who has recorded music on two continents, both in his homeland Australia and in the US. Beginning in Western Australia in late 2006, Sterling's solo debut 'Little White Crosses' was released on American Indie label Hatch Records in November 2007. The album features 8 guest artists contributing guitar, bass and percussive elements, and was recorded in 5 different studios including Bright Orange Studios in LA and Revolver Sound Studios in Perth (Australia). Finished in America's Teton Valley and featuring the opening track "The Age Of Stone" (recorded by multi-platinum record producer Jeff Lord-Alge, known for his work with James Brown, Ian Moss & Steve Winwood to name but a few), the album explores various musical styles and has already received commercial radio airplay in the United States. As evidenced on this album, and through his involvement with other projects such as The Brad Sterling Blues Project (www.myspace.com/thebradsterlingbluesproject) and the band Order Among Chaos (www.myspace.com/orderamongchaos), Brad Sterling is a versatile artist who is not afraid to explore and fuse genre in the pursuit of delivering a powerful musical message.
