i was born & raised in atlanta, georgia. as far back as i can remember, music has been in my life. my mom & dad are both talented players and/or singers & i guess all of my extended family is the same! so, i was always around singing & instruments.
my original path was to play drums & percussion. i studied at brevard music center (n.c) for two years as well as the chautauqua institution (n.y.). i attended belmont university in nashville, tn, as an orchestral percussion performance major. after leaving nashville, i returned to atlanta and free-lanced with several bands.
after doing a 4 month cruise ship contract, i connected with several players in atlanta to form timeless highway. the band went thru several personnel changes thru the 6 years that i was a part of it. members included: sid manley, bill cunningham, terry swanson, kevin albertson, tommy dodd, mike johnson, and john basler. this band was one of the most fun projects that i have ever done.
i am currently involved with several projects as well as doing session work around the atlanta area. these projects are:
Livin' Large: brad large, brooks smith, adrienne reynolds, drummer de jour (scott meeder, joe lee, george sandler, dave allen, wayne viar, kevin wyglad, etc), and many great saxophone players (darian emory, gary harris, and michael hoskin).
I read that you were tired from Six Flags. The Monster Plantation will do it to you everytime.Hope you are ok.I liked ''New kid in Town'',thats my favorite Eagles tune. One thing wrong with it,no steel.I love ya.Take care.
I was so not there for probably one of the funniest moments...I am laughing so hard just hearing about it. "Santa Claus is coming to town..." YOU FUNNY! Beth
