About me: The Brad Walker Orchestra, "The Gold Standard in Music." They are based in Knoxville, Tennessee. The Orchestra consist of 15 professional musicians who have played with bands and artist such as, Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, Harry James, Les Elgart, Ray Charles, N. Riddle, Frank Sinatra, Lawrence Welk, Con Hunley, Ray Price, Jim Ed Brown, and many more. Depending on the occasion, The BWO Entertainment may suggest a solo piano,a trio, a small combo, or full orchestra.
The Brad Walker Orchestra plays the music of Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Les Elgart, Benny Goodman, Harry James and a variety of big band/swing, ballads, rock/pop, soul--latin, dixieland and dance favorites.
The orchestra has played for many events inside the Tennessee area including country clubs, yacht clubs, wedding receptions, big band dances, dinner/dances, balls, galas,sweet sixteens, debutante balls, society engagements and more. They also travel outside Tennessee to play engagements around America.
Brad Walker, trombonist and leader can be heard every Saturday on Studio 1040 WQBB "America's Best Music" from 12:00 to 1:00p.m. for "Musical Memories." A Public dance that The Brad Walker Orchestra plays for, once a month, is held on the second Friday's of the month in Knoxville, TN. It is held at the Academy Ballroom in West Knoxville from 8:00 to 11:00p.m. featuring the 15 piece big band.
