Welcome to the Rockin' The Blues On Two Wheels News April edition!

I am excited to announce eight shows in May! We are off and running with the summer of 2013 tour dates!

Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys and I took a photo together before his private show in Las Vegas! All those hits he wrote are amazing! He sounded great and had the audience on their feet dancing! While in Las Vegas, I talked with Bruce Kulick about playing guitar with KISS. Check out our photo in this newsletter. I was inspired when he said he liked my guitar playing too!

A giant Wow!!! I jammed with Jeff Beck and sang the song “Rock Me Baby” from his first album. I was standing in amazement next to Jeff as he was rippin' on guitar! A highlight as a guitar player! He turned to me and said “what key?” I said A and the fun began. The other song we played together was the Stevie Wonder song, “Superstition.” Jeff Beck is one of the best, and it was truly an honor to meet him.

I have been in the studio remixing a song from the Blues Magic album with engineer Kris Hawkins. It will be released in May to support the shows. Kris did such awesome work on “Sugar Sweet,” I had to get his mixing talents on a new single! Watch for the announcement soon at www.bradwilsonlive.com.

Radio worldwide has been playing songs from the Blues Magic album. Could this be the start of travel to Europe to perform shows? I don't know yet, however things are heating up. Thank you very much to these new radio shows for adding Blues Magic:

Saturday, May 4 – River View, Three Rivers
For our local friends, on Saturday, May 4th, we are shakin' the house at the River View Inn on Highway 198 in Three Rivers, CA. There is no cover, with dinner on the patio next to the river and 9:30 PM dance downbeat.

Friday, May 10 – KSEE Concert Series, Old Town Clovis Farmers Market, Clovis
On Friday, May 10th, there’ll be a huge party in the streets of old town Clovis! The broadcast is supported on NBC/KSEE television station. This is the California Central Valley event of the year! The KSEE Concert Series at the Old Town Clovis Farmers Market is lots of fun! Be there from 6 PM til 8:30 PM at the stage located on the corner of Fourth and Pollasky.

Saturday, May 18 – Café Boogaloo, Hermosa Beach
All I need to say is Hermosa Beach, California, and everyone knows what that means....Good Times! Located at 1238 Hermosa Ave. near the pier. There’s a dance floor, dinner and Rockin' The Blues Southern California style! Get in by 9 PM and show off your moves. If you got it, flaunt it!

Thursday, May 23 – Chef’s Market, Napa
Located in downtown Napa we are on the Randolph stage. This is a free outdoor concert from 5:30 PM – 9 PM. Lots of fun for the family with good eats. Harrison Flynn will be joining us for a jam!

Friday, May 24 – Delorimier Winery, Healdsburg
This is a beautiful location with outstanding food, located on Highway 128. Event time will be 6 PM – 8 PM. Experience a romantic visit to the wine country. Make a reservation now, it will be fantastic!

Wednesday, May 29 – Concert In The Park, Tulare
Located at Zumwalt Park, Tulare Ave. and M Street. We start at 7:30 PM for a free outdoor concert. Local show for us, so we will be rippin'!!

Thursday, May 30 – Biscuits & Blues, San Francisco
Located at 401 Mason Street in San Francisco. We perform two shows - one at 8 PM and one at 10 PM. The $15 ticket price is good for both shows! Great food! Special guest musicians will be the amazing Tumbleweed on Blues Harp and East Bay ace guitarist Harrison Flynn!

Friday, May 31 – ApCal, Madera
Free outdoor concert will be lots of fun! Bring a blanket, lawn chair and join in! Located at 32749 Aveune 7. There is no charge and they sell food and wine for dinner.

Get ready for one of the biggest party summers ever! This will be a wild ride of good times and Rockin' The Blues guitar! Make plans to travel with us and come up and say hey Brad when your there!
