    Cold Mountain & 13 Moons (both by Charles Fraizer), Lincoln's Melancholy (by Joshua Wolf Shenk), Crusader's Cross & Last Car to Elysian Fields (both by James Lee Burke), The Historian (by Elizabeth Kostova), The Zahir (by Paulo Coelho) and I know it sounds cliché, but I have yet to read a book by Anne Rice or Louis L'Amour that I didn't enjoy. Too many other great books to fit on this short list.
