    ..All time favorite book is Gone With the Wind. Other than that, anything by Stephen King or Dean Koontz!!

  • Heroes

    ..Paul Thomas (my grandfather), Walter Figueroa (my husband), Chris Gibson (my brother-in-law)...and all the other men and woman who serve (or have served) in our Armed Forces. These people give up their lives to safeguard our freedoms. My grandfather served during WWII, where he received a Purple Heart. He also walked the beat as a police officer in Watts, CA. But maybe one of his greatest accomplishments was fighting for his Cherokee brothers and sisters. He was a chief elder of the Cherokee Nation and was a voice for many who had no voice. He was instrumental in rewriting the Cherokee Constitution and played a vital role in establishing the Rainbow House for the needy. He passed away on Septembe 21, 2006. I miss him so much. I await the day we will meet again. There will never be another in my life like him.



    ..My husband served 24 years and served in Iraq twice.

    ..And my brother-in-law paid the ultimate sacrifice with his life in Iraq on April 17, 2004.

    Crazy awesome news!  Sean got a call from a producer in West Hollywood inviting him to come audition for the lead role in a movie called The Magic Stone!!!!!    He's about 45 min from Burbank now!  So so glad I'm home.  You should have seen us in a panic to get a next day flight that was actually affordable!  We did it thanks to Priceline....wiggle your toes in the sand for me and kisses to sweet Naina xoxo

    Hang in there sugar. I was on bedrest for 12 weeks (my entire second trimester with my middle child due to a blood clot). That was 13 years ago...didn't even have the internet to keep me busy. I remember reading lots of books, lol.

    but i only get to check my stuff when i'm at work, and i'm usually running around, so i haven't had a chance to sit down and write back.

    please send those pictures, they would be great to have in the slide show. yes i talked to dad, everything is cool. no, we can't go to the beach, because zac's boss told him he was going to have to work the saturdays in oct. because he's taking off for the honeymoon. and... uhh
    i feel like i'm missing something :/

    Thanks! I haven't done any shopping for the baby yet. Kids Market began Monday and it was a mad house. I bought some things for my daughter. I'm going back today since I know it's a boy.
