Band MembersSean using his awesome bass skillz Sean-Bass/Lead Vox Jeremy With His Awesome New Guitar Jeremy-plays guitar like a god Zeb, the drum god! Zeb-Lightning Speed Smashing
InfluencesSEAN- Operation Ivy, Dead Kennedys, Descendents, Fugazi, Rancid,TSOL, Junior Achievement Gang of Four.................................. JEREMY- Metallica, The Adolescents, Pantera, The White Stripes, Black Flag, JFA........................................... ZEB- Acid Bath, Death, Sex Pistols, Slipknot, Cannibal Corpse, The Misfits
Sounds LikeBraincage's sound is intense, raw, Garage Punk with Metal and Oldschool Hardcore elements. Sean's bass style is a mix between simple, intense hardcore punk, and complex up and down melodies. Jeremy's guitar style is a heavy, distorted buzzsaw of intensity while his solos are a sadstic melody of extreme prowess. Last, but definiteley not least, Zeb's drumming style is a rolling barrage of toms symbols, and the kick drum that are so fast and precise, it seems almost humanly impossible. Together, our sound is intense, heavy, and catchy all at the same time.

About Braincage (SHOW ON THE 18th)
MySpace Layouts We are Sean Rooney, Jeremy Peterson, and Zeb Scibelli-Gotleib. Sean and Jeremy have been jamming for almost two years, now. Zeb joined in late March of '09. We play music that is energetic, aggressive, emotional, and political. If we were put in any specific genre, it would be punk, but our music, especially our new music, has influences from several other genres. Sean's bass style is heavily influenced by the bass styles of Matt Freeman in Operation Ivy, and Mike Watt of the Minutemen. Zeb's drumming influence can be found from the drummer of Slipknot, Joey Jordison, or the drummer of Acid Bath, Jimmy Kyle. Jeremy's guitar style is influenced by Metallica's Kirk Hammett, or Black Flag's Greg Ginn. Together, we make a great team, and our music is not only intense, but intelligent and catchy, as well. Our live performances have been described as raw, and very energetic. The band that we have mostly been compared to is Black Flag, but we have also been compared to the Dead Kennedys, Rancid, and Minor Threat. Anyways, if you want to see a band with energy, passion, talent, and intelligence all wrapped into one package, you should come to one of our shows, and if you like us, come to another one, and bring all your friends. Signed Halloween Poster All December!

We still have Halloween posters that we need to pawn off…I mean, that we need to make available to YOU!

So, any order over $20 this December will receive a signed 2009 Halloween Poster! (11" x 17" and folded into a square) Years later, when you find this poster buried deep in a dusty box in your garage, you'll trick yourself into thinking you were actually AT the 2009 Calabrese Halloween show. History shall be rewritten!

No, we were going to but we backed out, because we're writing a bunch of new material and have like 5 new songs we need to fix up and perfect, and we have a show at badlands on jan.9 with some pretty popular bands. Theyre not really our style, but hey, whatever you can do to get the word out is good.

Thats how it was at the start. So i started messaging some booking agents, venues, and production companies saying that if they ever need a band to play we're available, so people started booking us, and now that weve got some more show experiance people message us asking us to play. And yeah, it is alot harder to get respect when youre as young as us, but on the bright side we have a huge head start which is an advantage rather than starting when were 20.

Davey Drum Stick Deal!

For the month of October 2009, any online order over $20 will receive a "signed" broken or used drum stick from Davey Calabrese. All year long, Davey has been collecting these drum sticks and saving them just for you. Why does he have so my broken drum sticks? Could it be a lack of self control behind the drums? A mental disorder that causes him to destroy? Only his therapist knows for sure!
