Violent Tendencies is the sick and twisted creation of evil minded artists from a number of medias.
The crew was hatched in Jan 2008, through a collective love of all things dark. Violent Tendencies boasts an impressive roster of musicians and artists, offering a new breed to any scene they descend upon.
Violent Tendencies are best known for sadistic, hard, and heavy Drum and Bass but the disease doesn’t stop there. Also making Dubstep and Electro there will be plenty of dirt available to pollute minds of all tastes. Stepping up to the musical side of things are, Xzist The Lunattak a director for Mindsaw Recordings, Sicknote, Beast, OTM, The VCO, Shadow Conspiracy and Brainpain.
As a group Violent Tendencies are signed exclusively to Mindsaw Recordings, but as solo artists the members have releases on Freak, Iso:Tank, Flight, Combat, Mindocracy, Sociopath, Monstersound, Bondage, Killa Instinct Records and of course Mindsaw.
When the world is ready a live music act will be revealed, smashing through genre boundaries, bringing ‘The’ new sound to the earth’s ears. All the musicians are also DJs, holding various radio shows and residencies.
With artists all over the globe there is always filth close at hand for any party brave enough to endure the sounds of Violent Tendencies.
Not satisfied with only making music you can hear, Violent Tendencies want the audience to feel their dark force. This is achieved through work in film scores and soundtracks, with some interesting contracts already secure, no one is safe.
The fear tactics don’t stop there with Papa, Taki 1, and Miss Minky bringing their warped visions and inner demons to life through any artistic means possible. Already involved in a number of projects including installations, web design, vinyl art, posters, flyers, costume, makeup, and any thing else that come out of their creative skulls.
Violent Tendencies aim to punish, and things will only get nastier as they evolve and conspire into a unit of mass destruction. Hosting as many skills as they do Violent Tendencies are becoming a force to reckon with.
