About me: Living near Baltimore with my husband of six years. We work, we hang out with friends and family, and we're Christians, so we go to church. That pretty much covers about 95% of our days. I have unusual ideas about the role of Christians and the church in larger society.
Personality-wise, I am unabashedly brainy, snarky to the core--although I sincerely hope that I don't come across as mean-spirited---and somewhat contrarian by nature.
I work as a writer and editor for a company that provides resume writing and career coaching services, proving, once and for all, that yes, writers and liberal arts majors don't end up homeless and starving.
Who I'd like to meet: On MySpace specifically? Friends--current and those I've lost touch with.
If I could meet anyone--alive or dead? Too many to list and this tends to change from day-to-day. Jesus would be at the top of the list pretty much all the time, but I'm both a newshound and a history nerd, so I learn about new people all the time that I'd like to meet.
Hellllloooooo there!! Thanks for thinking of me...your big one is coming up soon, yes? How are things? Are you enjoying all things that come with being a homeowner? (-:
This month has been a little crazy for us- Abbie was sick for a week, then I (the caretaker) got sick for a week, which means our household stopped running. Patrick accepted and then quit 3 jobs and finally returned to work on Monday. Timothy is obsessed with trains and Lightning McQueen and loves the word no. Abbie is convinced she's going to stay in preschool forever...kindergarten sounds like "no fun." All is well in the Joyce household!! (-: love to my Nick.
Just bringing my presence in - it's been a while. I'm busy working on my business and growing in some personal ways these days :) How are you and Nick doing? Say hi to him for me, will ya? Thx :)
Hope y'all r enjoying yur weekend!
Take good care,
Patrick
