Embracing the independent spirit of Texas, Braker Lane delivers a diverse palette of rock n roll, spanning from country inspired tunes to all-out every man rock. Longtime collaborators, multi-instrumentalist Greg Haney and songwriter Matthew Lane, sought to return to the basics of bar band rock n roll. Bassist Mark VanKirk and Ian McDonald on the drums helped forge this idea into reality. Utilizing big guitars, strong writing and the will to let the songs lead them where they may, Braker Lane was born. Staking claim to Ft Worth as their home town, Braker Lane has quickly become known for their high energy, give all performances. Based on such dynamic live shows, the Fort Worth Star Telegram describes them as “an up and coming band with plenty of energy and grit.” In fall of 2008, Braker Lane released their country-rock hybrid debut album “The Only Way We Know”.
