Some places you can get our debut Album "Ready Or Not"
Immersed in an endless sea of images and information the next rising generation find themselves at a loss. They have more music, more knowledge, more ability, and more opportunity than ever before, but the throes of information gluttony have left them to crave something more. That something is context. And it is Branch Avenue, an up and coming group of artists from the DC area, who aim to alleviate that appetite. Upon the train-like tracks of energy infused pop-punk Branch Avenue wields the brute force of hard rock with the all the poignancy of a poet. Since 2004 Branch Avenue has worked to bring more than awe inspiring music and effectual lyrics. They come with meaning. In July of 2008 the band recorded their first ever professional recording with Baltimorean indie producer Justin Day. The polished product of those sessions, “I’m a Bullet”, was aired on Southern Maryland’s 97.7 The Rocket. In addition the band qualified for the 2007 National Fine Arts Festival after stunning judges at the district level along side scores of other artists and performers. In June of 2009 the band recorded their debut album, "Ready Or Not" with previous indie producer Justin Day. The eleven track album is planned to be released in December of 2009. The group has played numerous shows throughout the Maryland and Virginia area and plan to one day take their message and their music to the world...
Hey guys. I'm just checking to see when your show starts this Friday at My Brother's Place. Couldn't get to your CD release because of the storm...and sadly they're calling for snow again this Friday, but I don't intend to let it stop me this time. I must see you guys live.
Hey guys we posted up a new song we just finished from a band called Echoes in Color. This is our latest work so let us know what you think of the quality. Thanks.
Hey again. We can't make it to your show due to the snow storm. I'm really disappointed; been looking forward to this all month. Whatever though. We're probably gonna hit up your January 8th show at the same place. Do you guys think you'll have any CDs left for that show? I really, really want a CD. You don't even know how badly.

You are all VERY VERY TALENTED musicians/artists! So the Line up of A New Awakening, The Promise Estate, Vela Oh Vela, We Dine With Sinners and Settle THe Sky are so happy that you will be joining them! So to all your fans out there reading this...COME show your LOVE for BRANCH AVENUE! For only $12 you see 6 bands and have a great place to rock out, party with friends and have some great food, play games...then mingle up close with your favorite band. all in a safe enviroment!
And hey guys, I know it's a lot of trouble and I know that you guys have lives outside of Myspace and stuff, but if it isn't too much trouble, would you guys mind trying to post the lyrics to the rest of your songs before your December 18th CD release show? I'm trying to get all your stuff memorized so I can be as hyped as possible.
If you can't have them by then it's perfectly understandable, either way I'm so pumped to see your show.
Hey Guys, Suseen here, It was so great to meet you all on friday! So the 18th will be amazing! The line up is of course you with your CD release which we will make very well known, a new awakening, Vela Oh Vela, Settle the Sky, their touring band, so maybe one more. so I am so looking forward to helping you all (: It is going to be awesome!!!!!!!
Wow...just...wow. Morning After is AMAZING. I'm gonna have this Myspace playlist on loop for pretty much the whole day. I was a little shocked to find out that Jamie wasn't the last song on the album. It's really emotional and has a good sound that you won't forget after a first listen. Children is a really well-rounded song too, though. The vocals on it sound like a cross of Chiodos and Taking Back Sunday. It's a good collaboration. I'm typing this as I listen, btw. Is this a breakdown I feel coming up...? Hm. Outro-type thing. That works out well as an album ender, especially if you have it on loop. It goes right back into Fergie. Wow, I need this album.
Question about the CD show and stuff: I'm pretty sure, but I just like to double check; we can get tickets at the door, right? And another thing; do you guys have any merch besides CDs? Shirts and such? Thanks.
