Immersed in an endless sea of images and information the next rising generation find themselves at a loss. They have more music, more knowledge, more ability, and more opportunity than ever before, but the throes of information gluttony have left them to crave something more. That something is context. And it is Branch Avenue, an up and coming group of artists from the DC area, who aim to alleviate that appetite. Upon the train-like tracks of energy infused pop-punk Branch Avenue wields the brute force of hard rock with the all the poignancy of a poet. Since 2004 Branch Avenue has worked to bring more than awe inspiring music and effectual lyrics. They come with meaning. In July of 2008 the band recorded their first ever professional recording with Baltimorean indie producer Justin Day. The polished product of those sessions, “I’m a Bullet”, was aired on Southern Maryland’s 97.7 The Rocket. In addition the band qualified for the 2007 National Fine Arts Festival after stunning judges at the district level along side scores of other artists and performers. In June of 2009 the band recorded their debut album, "Ready Or Not" with previous indie producer Justin Day. The eleven track album is planned to be released in December of 2009. The group has played numerous shows throughout the Maryland and Virginia area and plan to one day take their message and their music to the world...

Hey guys, just got back from Ohio and was excited to listen to a new song...but there wasn't one. Not complaining, though, I just listened to Friend about 4 times instead.
Friend is definitely the opposite of cheesecake, which is a metaphor I like to use. I compare things to cheesecake, because cheesecake tastes really good at first, but the more you eat, the more full you get, since it's extremely rich. So it starts to taste worse and worse.
Friend is the opposite. I listened to it at first and was like "eh, pretty cool, they've done better..." but now it's like "This song is sooo freaking sick."
It's the opposite of cheesecake. Your music keeps getting better and better, friends.
Hey again. Just checking in for another weekend full of amazing songs. Friend's legit. I used to listen to Friend and Jamie a lot on Youtube back before you had them recorded, because they were all I had. It's a really sick recording. Sort of a different sound for you guys. I dig it. A lot. Keep it up! Can't wait till next weekend! <3
Yeah definitely! We're both on Kobra Klutch so that might happen some day eventually. Other than that, we can try to get some in the baltimore area if that works!
I love the new song, it sounds awesome guys! I can't wait for the album! Also, I was looking at your tour list, it listed Virginia and I got excited only to realize it's a private party x_x!
Wow. November weekends are going to be the best in the world. You guys are SO amazing. I hope the new album comes with a set of lyrics. If not, you guys could at least post a blog with all the lyrics for the whole album once it comes out. That'd be sick. New song's amazing. It's really technical compared to a lot of your other stuff. Trevor sounds exactly like Craig Owens at the break down. SOOOOOOOO sick. Can't wait for the album. I'm buying five.
okay so im extremely proud to say that my friends have this amazing band. you guys seriously sound more amazing everytime i hear you.
im so proud i just wanna cry lol to trevor: your voice is RIDICULOUS! im like sure ur range tops mine ALOT..lol! nice work! keep it up! im dyin for the album.
hahaha you guys are nuts. For me right now I'm not doing anything musically. There are talks of something in the works but i gotta kinda keep that underwraps for now. Not trying to make a big deal out of something if nothing comes out of it, you know? But if it does somehow get to taking off I will definitely let you know.
If I'm not one of the first people to grab that new CD and after finding out when the release date is, then I'll bust some caps. And by caps I mean bottle caps candies. It's Halloween tomorrow so I'll have a lot of those. ;) Keep it real guys.
