My influences stem from a love for all music. I have a wide variety of artists that I grew up listening to. One huge influence is Prince all the way from For You to 3121. A lot of people don't know this but Prince is an emcee and has made a lot of rap songs. Other artists consist of A Tribe Called Quest, Common (Sense), De La Soul, The Roots, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Kanye West etc. The day I fell in love with this thing called hip hop was when I heard the intro to The Low End Theory album. Since then nothing has come close until now!
Currently in disc changer:
Corrine Bailey Rae - Self Titled (Amazing album)
Common - Finding Forever (Been a fan since "Can I Borrow A Dollar")
Kanye West - Graduation
Prince - Planet Earth (A complete album from start to finish)
Talib Kweli - Eardrum (My favorite emcee)
Brandan - Untitled (Lyrics, looks, and likability. Just me being modest/honest)
Panic! At The Disco - A Fever You Can't Sweat Out (Great musical arrangement, lyrics, and vocals.)
Stevie Thunder Presents: The Elevation (Great mixtape and it doesn't hurt the fact that I'm on it.)
What's Up Brandan just had to get back to your spot again to spread blessing's & love Grown Folks Style !!!!...Remember Tenderness & kindness are not signs of weakness & despair, but manifestations of strength & resolutions.
