With their soaring vocals, huge guitar hooks, and anthemic choruses, Brandenburg has created their sound by combining pop/punk energy with melodic sensibility. On their EP "We Breathe While We Wait", Brandenburg delivers a diverse, yet solid set of songs that showcase their wide range of influences. From the densely layered "Murder Scenes", to the melodic pulse of "Without A Word", to the sing-a-long anthem "Michigan At Best", and the lush and delicate soundscape of "This Could Be Better", Brandenburg has proven that are very serious songwriters who are not afraid to raise the bar in an oversaturated genre. Consisting of brothers Pat (Bass/Vocals) and Phill Hood (Drums), as well as friends Steve Stocker (Guitar) and David Heinrich (Guitar), Brandenburg is willing to work hard to reach their goals. Although they have only been together since May 2005, they have already accomplished many exciting feats such as opening for national acts, Playing Warped tour Detroit and Cleveland, and embarking on many tours. Despite all of their accomplishments in the time they've been together, the band knows that achieving all of their goals will take much more hard work and determination. In other words, Brandenburg won't settle with letting themselves become a "memory".
