I don't have cable. I paint instead. or look at art. You should too.
Books
I am now a member of the Barnes and Noble Book Club. I live with Eric and his books plus my books means that we have almost completely bought out the art, mythology, mapping/maps, current events, design and bargain sections of the store. I like anything that is fiction. I read "Evolution of a Cro-Magnon" John Joseph. It's the life story of the lead singer of the Cro-Mags. Pretty good read. I like true stories. Right now I'm working on "Women in Mythology".

About me: I'm 33. Restless. Outgoing. Talkative. I guess I interupt a lot. I use foul language and then cover up my mouth as if I'm suprised. Adventurous. Active. Open. Friendly. Controlling. I drive a manual transmission, because I can't even have the car shift for me because I'm THAT controlling. I'm obsessive about everything, even the way I eat. I find one thing I like...Olives for example and I eat a jar a day until they are out of my favor, then I move onto something else. Narcissistic, and yet still manage to second guess myself.
I'm a maker. I like to make things. Oil Painter. Watercolor Painter. Amateur metalsmith.
I began painting when I was 12. My first sale happened at that age when a neighbor commissioned a painting that included five California Raisins, with the names of her family painted above the individual raisin characters.
When I was fifteen or sixteen my adopted father abandoned my little brothers with my twin sister and I for awhile and we ran out of food the first day. We waited (first thing in the morning) with our friend for the bread truck to make the delivery at the grocery store across the street. When the delivery driver took a load in we robbed the truck. We lived off of cream filled pastries for a week.
Things I'm good at: talking, learning anything at all, being fearless, or brave enough to try things anyway, putting others before myself, doing the things I say I will do...
Things I'm terrible at: letting others talk, being dependent on anyone for anything at all, cuddling, being idle, thinking before I say things,...
Things I love: Peyton and Anessa, painting, green olives, internet, traveling to places far away, summer and hot weather, dreaming,...
Things I hate: Waiting, food preparation, cold weather, responsibilities,...
I thank you kindly for the friendship, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance! Thought I'd just point out that the works featured in my myspace gallery are just small "detail" sections of much larger drawings, all of which are shown in full alongside more of my art in my external website GRANDPASTUDIOS.COM's gallery!! Please take a peek if you have time.
