It's a long, hard, and scary road and there's no guarantee I'll ever find the end of it. I've seen the best of them give it a try, only to be stuck on the side of it somewhere, with their thumb up, hoping to hitch a ride. But I'm gonna take the road nonetheless, cuz despite how ugly she can be, I love her the same and I always will. I love the ups and downs, the twists and turns, the smooth parts and the potholes. I love every minute of this road and that's why I'm not afraid to put myself out there and take it. You aint afraid of nothing when you got love on your side, cuz you got nothing to lose and everything to gain. Don't get me wrong though. If there's one thing I'm not, it's naive. Love aint enough. Love don't fill up your gas tank, it only makes the ride better. What's the missing link? What helps you to get over the hump? I'll tell you. Friends. When you don't got the resources for the ole' unleaded, the friends you got are gonna be the only ones to throw you a buck or two to keep you going.
