Love, Life, Death or whatever happens to be floating through my mind at any given moment.....and my brother from another mother Jacob Cunningham (myspace.com/jaykubdouglas)
Brandon Britton grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, the place he will always call home.
Kentucky is where he found his passion; after trying his hand at baseball and many
other sports he realized his true calling was writing music. He put down his baseball
bat, picked up a guitar, and hasn't put it down since. After one week of guitar
lessons he decided to teach himself to play, and from there him and a fellow
musician, Jacob Cunningham, started playing shows together. They formed the acoustic
duo, Signal Fading. After developing their sound and foundation of listeners they
took another step and added drums and bass to their already unique acoustic sound.
They were on the rise, playing with well known artists in the area when they all went
their seperate ways to find their own individuality.
The singer-songwriter aspect of
music is what held his heart moreso than playing in an acoustic-rock band.
Brandon continued writing about the experiences that make up his life timeline,
ranging from love and heartache to the loss of his father. No matter which song of
his is playing, as a listener you are sure to be inspired. Whether it makes you
laugh or cry, you will surely feel the passion in his lyrics.
Along with writing his own lyrics and melodies, Brandon records his own music at his
in-home studio. He was a student at The Art Institute of Nashville to further his
knowledge of recording, but once again realized he was much more capable of teaching
himself the tricks of the trade. He has upgraded his equipment over the years and
spent countless nights learning the ins and outs of it all. Along with learning the
equipment to record many instruments, he has also learned to play them. Along with
the guitar, Brandon plays the drums, piano, and bass in his songs. Brandon
couldn't ask for more than an honest analysis of the music he makes, and sends his
thanks out to anyone who listens.
